Ingredients:
- 1 box Mrs. T’s Classic Cheddar Full Size Pierogies, frozen
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil, for garnish
- Crushed red pepper fl akes, optional, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Combine pierogies, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in a large bowl, and toss to coat evenly.
- Transfer pierogies to prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Bake, fl ipping halfway through, until crisp, light golden-brown and fully heated through, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top evenly with tomato sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted and bubbling, an additional 6-8 minutes.
- Garnish with basil and red pepper fl akes before serving.
