Sheet-Pan Pierogy Parmesan

Ingredients:
  • 1 box Mrs. T’s Classic Cheddar Full Size Pierogies, frozen
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Crushed red pepper fl akes, optional, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Combine pierogies, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in a large bowl, and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Transfer pierogies to prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Bake, fl ipping halfway through, until crisp, light golden-brown and fully heated through, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and top evenly with tomato sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted and bubbling, an additional 6-8 minutes.
  6. Garnish with basil and red pepper fl akes before serving.
